9th Grade

If this doesn't make sense to you, then good. It shouldn't. This is a drawing I made for nostalgia's sake. In the days when naruto was really popular....Those days in high school when the reality of this life collided with the fantasy of fandom. This is dedicated to my friend Tiffany, who spent all 4 years of high school with me. We have plenty of inside jokes, and we shared plenty of naruto comics through the years. We had our own canon. Our own fantasy. When life sucked at home or school, our fantasies of naruto characters come to life were sometimes relieving and acted as an escape from the business of life.

Now we are adults. She goes to college, and I, to ministry school. I moved far away, began going to school, and I rent a room and live on my own. It's time to put away old things, and become the new. But I don't think I will ever forget those hilarious comics we would exchange in between classes. I won't forget about the Clodhoppers, the grandpa star comics, the green hand initiation for agriculture class, Shino and his taco obsession, naruto the idiot, hinata the princess, kiba the wild one, and lee the awkward and sometimes hot-headed imaginary boyfriend.
